NOHA Officials Program of Excellence

This past weekend, November 4-6th, 2022 marked the Inaugural NOHA Officials Program of Excellence weekend hosted at the Big Nickel AAA Hockey Tournament in Sudbury, Ontario.

The NOHA hosted 16 officials from all across Northern Ontario to provide an enriching experience of learning and sharing rooted in the Hockey Canada officiating philosophy.

Officials attended classroom sessions featuring instructors Glen Campbell (NOHA Director of Officials), Greg Kimmerly (OHF Referee-in-Chief), and Ken Miller (OHL Officiating Manager). The Guest Speaker for the event was Dan Hannoomansingh (Hockey Canada Manager, Officiating).

On the ice, invitees had the opportunity to officiate at the highest levels of AAA hockey, and received on-ice supervision, with exposure for future events such as the Hockey Canada Ontario Region OPoE.
