It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of NOHA-alum Larry Hillman at 85 years of age.

Larry was a six-time Stanley Cup Champion from Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and the youngest player to have won the cup with Detroit when he was only 18 years old. He began his NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings, where he etched his name in his first Stanley Cup, then played for the Toronto Maple Leafs for eight seasons and four Stanley Cups, as well as the Montreal Canadiens.

The NOHA sends our condolences to his family, and honours the mark he left on our game.
