The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) is seeking applications for the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) Learning Facilitator for the 2022/2023 season and beyond.


NOHA NCCP Learning Facilitators are responsible for delivering Coaching Clinics within their respective region across Northeastern Ontario. For the upcoming season, these Clinics will be delivered virtually with an on-ice component in the various centres across the NOHA. Further documentation on an individual's expectations in this role and background of the various NOHA NCCP Clinics can be found here.

Please submit with your application:

· A detailed resumé, including any playing experience, coaching experience, professional development (seminars/courses), or instructing expertise relevant to this position.

· If possible, a letter of recommendation from a Minor Hockey Association familiar with your work in the sport. The letter should be signed by the Association President or an approved signing officer.


These additional documents can be either be attached to your survey response or emailed to NOHA Technical Director Jacob Brown at jbrown@noha-hockey.ca The deadline to submit your application is August 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM.


The NOHA will follow up with each person that applies for the position.

Congratulations to all the organizations receiving the Ontario Sports Network Emergency Relief Community Sport and Recreation Grant!


The Ontario Sport Network was appointed by the province to deliver a one-time application-based relief fund targeting community level sport and recreation organizations, clubs, teams, leagues, and associations that have sustained losses due to COVID-19.


The following NOHA organizations have been awarded this grant:


Elliot Lake Red Wings Junior A

Cochrane Crunch Junior A

Coniston Minor Hockey Association

French River Rapids Junior A

Sudbury Minor Hockey Association

Western Manitoulin Minor Hockey Association


The NOHA Tournament Host Application Form is now available online!


Follow the steps to complete the tournament application process:

  • Fill out the form and upload your rules & regulations and invitation

  • Send the $100 deposit via e-transfer to lmorell@noha-hockey.ca

  • Or send a cheque via mail to the NOHA office. Note: applications will not be processed until the deposit is paid

  • Once approved, you will receive your sanction & reconciliation form via email and the tournament will be posted on our Tournaments Listings page
