Are you looking forward to returning to the ice next season?

This year, we will include a Level 3 Upgrade Clinic for the same fee.

What else is the benefit:

  • 2024-25 registration fee included.

  • You do not have to attend a re-certification clinic if you are successful at the camp.

  • While you are supervised, representation from the NOHA, NOJHL and OHF will be attending.

  • You could be recommended to officiate a higher level of hockey, including AAA, JR A, and OHF championships or invited to participate in the NOHA OPOE camp.

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) will host its annual Development Camp for Officials and Level 3 Upgrade Clinic in conjunction with its U14 Development Weekend from August 9-11, 2024. The Camp will be held at Memorial Gardens in North Bay.

While we welcome all applications, acceptance into the Camp will be based on discussion with your District Referee-in-Chief and/or the NOHA Director of Officials as someone who is capable of Officiating in or moving up within the Elite Leagues of the NOHA (i.e., AAA, NOJHL, OHL). Members of these Leagues will attend during the weekend to provide instruction and evaluation during games.

The camp will also serve to progress your officiating knowledge and capabilities. Eligible officials can write the Level 3 exam and obtain Level 3 certification. Successful officials can be selected for upcoming Championships during the 2024-2025 season and attend our Officiating Program of Excellence Camp in November.
