The Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup is back!

WHAT IS THE CHEVROLET GOOD DEEDS CUP?

A challenge for eligible U11 - U15 minor hockey teams registered with Hockey Canada to take the values they learn on the ice - determination, leadership, teamwork - and use them to support their communities, off the ice.

No Good Deed goes unnoticed, and they can get your team a step closer to winning $100,000 for charity. To get things rolling, the first 150 teams tagged in or who submit an eligible video showcasing their good deed will earn an exclusive Team Kit, filled with enough goodies for each player.

So get out there, do a good deed, submit your video and Fill the Cup!

Submitting Good Deeds is easier than ever.

  1. Record your Good Deed

  2. Post it on social* using #GoodDeedsCup and #Contest

  3. Be sure to tag @ChevroletCanada and your team’s name to make sure your entry gets counted!

That’s it!

Every eligible Good Deed you submit on social will add one point to your team’s collective score on the Good Deeds Cup Leaderboard.

The more Good Deeds you submit, the more points your team collects.

The more points your team collects, the better their chances of winning this year’s Cup!

Visit the Good Deeds Cup website for more information.

Congratulations to the NOHA's December Volunteer of the Month, Sarah Lalonde!

Sarah is the current U7 Convenor with Valley East Minor Hockey, a position she has held for several years. She is a kind-hearted individual who always has the kids’ best interests in mind. Sarah spends countless hours at the start of every season ensuring everything is set in place for a successful year.

Lalonde is an open-minded volunteer with an excellent understanding of the U7 Player Pathway. She isn’t afraid to get involved in the community, reaching out to local high schools to find student athletes who wish to come out and assist with programming to earn their volunteer hours, her own son included.

Sarah is an extremely positive person and is a deserving recipient of the December Volunteer of the Month honour.

Do you have a volunteer in your community you would like to highlight? Make sure to nominate them for the NOHA’s Volunteer of the Month! Selected nominees will be featured on the NOHA website and social media, as well as receive a certificate and prize package.
